2. What is the role of structured packing in high vacuum distillation column?
It is a widely used liquid mixture separation operation in industry, widely used in petroleum, chemical, light industry, food, metallurgy and other sectors. Distillation operations are classified in different ways. According to the operation mode can be divided into continuous distillation and intermittent distillation; According to the composition of the mixture, it can be divided into binary distillation and multiple distillation. It can be divided into ordinary distillation and special distillation (including extractive distillation, azeotropic distillation and salt distillation) according to whether the additive in the mixture is added to affect the vapor-liquid balance.
